Tammera E. Banasek, Esq.
Tammera E. Banasek focuses her practice on the litigation of professional and general liability cases, with an emphasis on the defense of complex medical, dental, and nursing home issues. She received her BA in 1985 from Northern Illinois University, and her juris doctorate (cum laude) from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1993. She regularly speaks and publishes in the areas of medical and dental malpractice, including in claims, risk, and employment matters impacting health professionals. She has tried numerous cases to successful verdict and has handled cases through appeal. Ms. Banasek is the recipient of the Jury Verdict Reporter Best Dental Defense Verdict award.
Jessica Saetern, TDIC Senior Risk Management Analyst
Jessica Saetern is a Senior Risk Management Analyst with TDIC. She joined the organization in 2019. She supports dental professionals through national speaking engagements at major industry events, virtual presentations, dental conventions, dental schools, and state dental societies. She brings over 20 years of dental experience in the areas of insurance billing, claims management, revenue cycle management, provider appeals and as a business consultant. She holds a certification in Management and was named into the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society in 2022.
Ms. Saetern leads the content creation and development for virtual courses on behalf of the risk management department. She also contributes to the Risk Management publications of RM Matters and Liability Lifeline. She is committed to making a positive impact through the advice and resources she provides in the areas of professional, employment, business, and cyber liability including property and operations risk management.
