Course Description:

Coordinating leaves of absence (LOAs) under the various federal and state statutes can be a daunting challenge for many employers. This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to requests for protected leaves. Participants will also learn how to manage and effectively track the various types of leaves.

Learning Outcomes:

• Identify which type of protected leave to apply
• Provide the certification and documentation appropriate for the leave type.
• Track the various types of leaves and effectively communicate with the employees on leave.
